  • D.C., CACCP, CFMP
    Owner, Chiropractor

I find immense joy in connecting with patients at Polaris Collective Wellness, where my journey into chiropractic care began influenced by my aunt, a chiropractor. From Georgia to Oregon, I've cultivated a healing space, drawing inspiration from my Chickamauga Cherokee heritage and fostering a supportive community at North West Native Chamber. After obtaining my Bachelors in Psychology in Kentucky and a Chiropractic degree from Life University in Georgia, I fulfilled my dream of founding Polaris Collective Wellness in Portland, Oregon. Our vision is to create a collective space where practitioners collaborate to support individuals on their health journey, guiding them towards their North Star. The name Polaris signifies cultural ties, symbolizing the North Star's guidance in finding one's path and purpose. With a diverse range of patients, from expectant mothers to grandmothers, I witness the body's incredible capabilities, fueling my dedication to holistic well-being—body, mind, and spirit. Through chiropractic care, nutrition, and mental support, I aim to show that anything is possible, learning from each patient's unique journey and contributing to their overall well-being.

  • “He who has health, has hope; and he who has hope, has everything.” - Thomas Carlyle

Growing up as a first-generation Polish-American, I strive to make medicine accessible and approachable. I believe that everyone has the right to feel good within their bodies and have therefore found myself naturally gravitating towards mind-body practices, addressing both musculoskeletal and emotional pain. Alongside acupuncture, I also have training in perineural injection therapy, craniosacral, orthobionomy, applied kinesiology, myofascial, neuroemotional technique, and pelvic floor therapy. I often focus on providing patients with choice and options in interventions, so they can feel empowered in their health decisions.

Regarding my professional training, I have graduated from SUNY Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. During that time, I became interested in research and had a focus on oxytocin and neurodevelopment. My research and medical interests (especially towards health equity) directed me towards Boston University School of Medicine and Public Health, where I received a Masters in Medical Research and Global Health. During this time, I had an opportunity to work with a non-profit in Poland offering medical services to children struggling with neurodevelopment, which allowed me to reconnect to my values in medicine. Polish culture traditionally has a focus on herbal remedies (often proprietary blends persevered through monasteries) and food as medicine; upon deeper introspection, I realized that my fundamental values most align with naturopathic medical principles. So I packed my bags and moved to Portland, Oregon to complete a degree in Naturopathic Medicine and East Asian Medicine, with a certificate in Midwifery and Natural Childbirth.

In my free time, I love to travel, experience different cultures, social dance (the universal language - dances such as blues, Lindy Hop, salsa), getting lost in a book over a cup of tea, and escape into PNW nature as much as possible by hiking, backpacking, or dispersed camping.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me; I look forward to working with you towards achieving your health goals.

  • Providing a mineral blueprint of one's biochemistry, a hair tissue mineral analysis can provide pertinent information about one's metabolic rate, energy levels, and stage of stress.A hair tissue mineral analysis performed by Analytical Research Labs, Inc., is a screening test for the level of 20 minerals and toxic metals in a sample of hair. It is a tissue mineral biopsy that is non-invasive, relatively inexpensive and extremely accurate. Our laboratory uses only the most advanced and sophisticated instrumentation available today, the Perkin Elmer ICP-MS nexION 2000B Mass Spectrometer to assess mineral levels in parts per million or parts per billion.A hair tissue mineral analysis is considered a standard test used around the world for the biological monitoring of trace elements and toxic metals in humans and animals species. The same technology is used for soil testing and testing of rock samples to detect mineral levels.Hair, like all other body tissues, contains minerals that are deposited as the hair grows. A sample of hair cut close to the scalp provides information about the mineral activity in the hair that took place over the past three to four months, depending on the rate of hair growth.

Functional Medicine

  • Massage benefits include reduced stress and muscle tension, improved circulation and flexibility, and enhanced overall well-being. Regular massage can also help manage chronic pain and improve sleep quality.

  • Low-level-light therapy or photobiomodulation is based on Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology and is the application of light energy to the body for therapeutic benefits. It promotes a natural photobiochemical reaction similar to the process of plant photosynthesis. The energy delivered by the LEDs has been shown to enhance cellular metabolism, accelerate the repair and replenishment of damaged skin cells, as well as stimulate the production of collagen — the foundation of healthy, smooth skin. Research has shown that LED light therapy may help smooth skin texture, improve skin firmness and resilience, increase lymphatic system activity, restore skin’s natural cellular activity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and superficial hyperpigmentation. The treatment is for all skin types, and is non-ablative, non-invasive, painless, and requires absolutely no downtime. Patients or clients can return to their normal activity immediately after the treatment.

  • Biomat red light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes low-level laser or light-emitting diode (LED) therapy to promote tissue repair and healing. It is believed to work by increasing cellular metabolism, reducing inflammation, and enhancing the body's natural healing processes. Some benefits of biomat red light therapy include reduced pain and inflammation, improved wound healing, and enhanced skin health. It is typically used to treat a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, arthritis, and skin conditions.
